The SGX surface generator is a computer numerically controlled machine tool specifically designed to surface plastic ophthalmic lenses. It consists of a control computer and a surfacing mechanism. The SGX video enhanced system includes the video display and keyboard. The computer performs the overall control of the SGX. Once the power is turned ON, you are able to communicate with the SGX using the computer control panel keys and keyboard.

Machine Specifications: Electrical supply of 110V is required and must be properly grounded. In order to assure a consistent power supply, the use of a power stabilizer is recommended.

Machine construction: The machine is built with long lasting materials such as hard aluminum base and heavy duty plastic covers. Computer numerically controlled CNC

Machine capabilities: The machine is capable of cutting plastic and polycarbonate lenses but NO GLASS.  

Machine conditions: This is a machine in working conditions, However due to the fact that is a used machine the sale of this unit is " as is" , and no warranty is applicable.

We ship the unit on a full crate made of fumigated wood.
